Beach Diet Phase 1
South
beach diet phase 1 is the strictest phase of the plan.
Phase 1 lasts for 14 days and restricts you from eating
bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, baked goods and fruit.
South beach diet phase 1 also bans you from eating candy,
cake ice cream or sugar. Beer or alcohol of any kind
is prohibited during phase 1 of the south beach diet.

During the south beach diet phase 1 salads and vegetables
are unlimited and ample portions of proteins and good
fats are allowed. During this phase, you should never
feel hungry because your portion sizes are not limited.
South beach diet phase 1 allows you to eat enough to
satisfy your hunger but not more than that amount.
After
14 days in phase 1, you will move to phase 2. In the
next phase of the south beach diet, you will begin to
add back bread, pasta, rice, cereal, potatoes and fruit.
Once you get through south beach diet phase 1, the diet
becomes easier to adhere to. |
