South Beach Diet Menu

South beach diet menus are numerous and allow you to be creative and eat a variety of foods. There are south beach diet menus for phase 1, phase 2 and phase 3 of the diet plan. The south beach diet book is composed of meal plans for 14 days of each phase of the diet. Example south beach diet menus for all three phases of the diet are below.

South beach diet menus for phase 1 of the diet includes vegetable quiche cups, vegetable juice cocktail and decaffeinated coffee or decaffeinated tea for breakfast. A midmorning snack of 1 part skim mozzarella cheese stick and a mid afternoon snack of celery stuffed with 1 wedge of light cheese. South beach diet menu for lunch includes sliced grilled chicken breast on romaine and sugar-free gelatin dessert. A dinner of grilled salmon with rosemary, steamed asparagus, tossed salad with olive oil and vinegar is on the south beach diet menu.

South beach diet menu for phase 2 includes 1 cup fresh strawberries, oatmeal and decaffeinated coffee or tea for breakfast. Mid morning snack is a hard boiled egg and mid afternoon snack is a fresh pear with one wedge of light cheese. Lunch is a Mediterranean chicken salad. South beach diet menu in phase 2 includes spinach-stuffed salmon fillet, vegetable medley, tossed salad with olive oil and vinegar dressing. Dessert could be chocolate dipped strawberries on the south beach diet menu for phase 2.

South beach diet menus for phase 3 breakfast may include ½ grapefruit, 2 vegetable quiche cups, oatmeal and coffee or tea. Lunch consists of roast beef wrap and a fresh apple. Dinner includes Moroccan grilled chicken, couscous, Mediterranean salad with olive oil and vinegar to taste on the south beach diet menu for phase 3. Dessert consists of strawberries with vanilla yogurt on the south beach diet menu phase 3.
